Should relatives and friends wish to remember Jim with a Memorial or Condolence card, they may be sent to the James Wisniewski family C/O Ruminski Funeral Home P. There will be no Service or Visitation at this time. Jim's family would like to thank the ThedaCare at Home Hospice team for the wonderful care they provided for Jim and his family. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Loyd Wisniewski, his mother-in-law, Dolores Martin- Flanigan, father-in-law Ralph Martin and his beloved canine companion, Jo. Jim is survived by his wife, Linda, his mother June (McClelland) Barrington of Wautoma, his son Brian (Laura) Wisniewski of Germantown, two step daughters, Amy Mastricola and Jill Mastricola both of Berlin four grandchildren: Carly, Ayla, Logan, and Cooper, and one great granddaughter, Kamara his brother Larry (Pat) Wisniewski of Marshfield three sisters-in-law: Mary (Gordon) Schafer of Eau Claire, Sue Lain of Oshkosh, and Christine (Tom) Lee of Omro, and a brother-in-law Tom (Kai-Yun) Martin of Boston two nieces: Jody (Tony) Gould, and Kelly (Mark) Belke, other relatives and good friends. Jim also had many good friends and enjoyed spending time with them, whether it was in person or on the phone. Jim also was a master bratwurst griller and Bloody Mary maker and enjoyed get togethers with the family. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and shooting trap with his buddies. Jim was a former member of the Berlin River Riders Snowmobile Club and Berlin Conservation Club.

He was also a human GPS and could help anyone get to where they wanted to go. He especially liked talking about the days he attended a one room country school "Terrill" and the history of Redgranite. He will be remembered as a humble man with quick witted humor, a great story teller and history buff. In 1979 Jim married Linda (nee Martin) and transitioned to life as a family man. After graduating from Wautoma High School in 1966, Jim worked at Rockwell International and later for Faulks Brothers Construction, Waupaca, where he retired after 34 years.

Jim passed away at his home in the Town of Warren, rural Redgranite Friday, Septemat the age of 73 years.
